How to Make a DIY 4th of July Door Hanger
Updated: Jul 11, 2019
Today I made this DIY 4th of July door hanger/wall hanging patriotic home decor piece. It's a fairly quick and easy project to make. Here's a list of supplies that you'll need:
Note: the Homespun Flag transfer has retired and is no longer available online, however, I have a few in my inventory. Call, email or message me if you’d like to purchase one.
White Acrylic Paint
Foam Paint Sponge/Brush
Tag Shaped Wood Cutouts (1 large and 1 small)
I did a Facebook Live video of this project so you can see how I put it all together. Before recording the video, I painted the wood cutouts with a quick coat of white acrylic paint. The natural color of the wood was a little more yellow than I wanted for this project. Here's the FB Live:
So... after recording the video, I ran to the craft store to pick up some ribbon. I added the ribbon, made a little bow which I hot glued on and, viola! Here's the finished project.
